Aloe & Eucalyptus Oil Hair Mist

From my last wash day post, my hair felt really weird like my hair still felt really dry and brittle while it’s still under running water. As I was reviewing my regimen, I totally forgot that I wanted to try out hair misting to keep my hair soft and moisturized during the day. In the morning, my hair is usually dry and sounds crunchy. My usual hair mist would contain aloe vera juice and water but I found a website that made me decide to change it up a bit.

My hair mist was inspired by Tamara F. of Naturalhairrules.com. The reason why I said “inspired” is because the hair mist that I followed, I didn’t have all of the products that she used such as the Lavender Essential Oil. Her initial hair that I followed was her Aloe & Lavender Moisturizing Mist. I changed the name for mines since I used a different essential oil: Aloe & Eucalyptus Morning Mist.

To reference Tamara F. morning mist, the exact ingredients, it’s located here. Here are my ingredients that I used

Ingredients:

• Water (1/4 cup)
• Aloe Vera Juice (1 tbsp)
• Coconut Oil (1 tbsp)
• EVOO (1 tbsp)
• Almond Oil (1 tsp)
• Vitamin E (1/2 tsp)
• Eucalyptus Oil (2-3) the regular Eucalyptus oil was too strong for me so I used Simplicity oil which contains Eucalyptus oil

Directions:

1. Add the distilled water into your container/water bottle
2. Add the oils
3. Add the Aloe Vera Juice
4. Mix it up until well incorporated
5. Store in the fridge

When I first used it, my hair sucked it up really quickly but it made my hair feel really soft and manageable. I guess my pH balance was way off and the aloe vera juice helped it to go back in place. I will only use this product in the morning then proceed to my regular moisturizing and sealing for the night.

Renpure Originals: Coconut Cream Conditioner

So, I just bought this product from BI-LO for $4.79. I was just roaming around in the hair aisle and noticed this line that I never heard of before. It had a sale so I decided to buy it just to try it out.

One thing that I absolutely noticed about it is that it contains no sodium chloride, sulfates, dyes, harsh salts, parabens or gluten. Another good thing about it is that you do get your money worth because this product is filled to the top.

Since I haven’t heard of this product before, I checked out their website here: www.renpure.com They also have many other hair products that I also wish to try out as well.

The conditioner seems legit so I cannot wait to try it out but only when I clarify my hair because it’s been a while since I did.

My Assessment: I apply this conditioner with coconut oil to either dry or damp hair. I use the Laila Ali Conditioning Cap for an hour. My results were amazing! I had a lot of slip and my hair was really juicy. To be honest, since this conditioner has a thick consistency, I use coconut oil first on my hair so that the conditioner can slide on easily.

This is an amazing product but I feel as I’m paying a lot for a little amount of product. For 9 ounces, I’m paying $5 but for 14-15 ounces, I found out that it only cost about $8. There is a major different and I’m kind of on a budget since school is coming soon.

Other than that, I love this conditioner. It gives my hair what it needs; it makes my hair soft and manageable. I was about to get 4 uses so far and I’m already hooked.

Would I buy this product again? Yes, girl but I’ll either buy it online or at a beauty supply store to get it in a bigger size.
